After more than two decades servicing domestic and commercial customers, having launched in 1996 with a revolutionary cleaning system, Amazing Clean is Australia’s leading blind, curtain, mattress and upholstery cleaning company.
Until Amazing Clean, there was no professional way to clean Venetian, vertical, timber, roller and pleated blinds in the Australian market.
This unique business was created by the Kent family, which previously owned one of Australia’s leading blind-manufacturing companies.
Recognising a gap in the market, research by founding director Steve Kent led him to America, where he found ultrasonic blind cleaning to be a growing industry. After studying what the Americans were doing with this process – which uses ultrasound and an appropriate cleaning solvent – Steve applied a little Aussie ingenuity and tenacity to develop a superior method.
Through this, the ultimate system for cleaning blinds and awnings was born.
The first Amazing Clean operation was based in Brisbane and soon others, operating under license, began to duplicate the success.
Today, there are franchises across much of Australia including the ACT, NSW, Northern Territory, Victoria and Western Australia in addition to Queensland where the Amazing Clean story started. Amazing Clean is a member of the Franchise Council of Australia, which promotes excellence in franchising, and all franchisees are experts in world-leading cleaning processes and use environmentally-friendly cleaning products.
