In light of our analysis of this business, we are positioning this sale towards one of the following scenarios:

b) Perfect home based business – simply outsource the cutting which is the only part of production currently done in-house, and to run a sales / logistics office from home

100% Australian, privately owned company and has been established since 2005. Having said that, this was simply a part of a re-structure, as the family business had been trading prior to this, in a factory with 35 staff, which operated for over 75 years. The business focuses and specialises in providing Australian-made custom clothing solutions, predominantly aimed at the supply of corporate clothing and school uniforms, to a range of diverse customers.

Their primary skill is in designing and developing customised product – rather than off the shelf solutions, and getting it made on time, on budget, and with very good quality control and compliance standards.

They pride themselves on their reputation, and ability to compete with bigger players, yet whilst being able to offer their customers flexibility as well as an excellent personalised service, which goes a long way these days!

The business is currently run out of a small warehouse in the Northern Beaches, which is owned by the vendors. Having said that, it is run out of these premises as it is convenient, but the business most certainly does not require such a large premises, in fact doesn’t require much of a premises at all. 90% of manufacture / production is already out sourced, other than the cutting of materials which is currently done in-house, as facilities are available, but which is a simple task to out-source as well, which is the plan.

Owner is most willing to do a reasonable hand-over to a new buyer, to ensure all goes smoothly for both the new owner, and of course his valued customers.
