After 16 years we are offering our Retail Only (no deliveries) Newsagency for sale. The business can easily be operated by a couple and casual staff as required.

The current hours of operation are 7am to 5pm weekdays and 7am to 1pm Saturday and 7.30am to 11am on Sundays. There are opportunities for a new owner to expand those operating hours.

This is a long established newsagency located on the main street of Tamworth NSW. We have owned the newsagency for 16 years and are now looking to retire so we are selling our much loved business.

The newsagency attracts around 2,500 customer visits a week and has an annual lottery turnover (2024) of approximately $1.925m. With lotteries commission of 12.3% this represents solid income underpinning the business. In addition to lotteries income the newsagency also offers an extensive range of gifts, greeting and lifestyle cards, magazines, newspapers, drinks, confectionery and souvenirs. Gross sales are averaging $50,000 per week.

The Newsagency does not currently sell tobacco products offering further growth potential.
