John is our Officer in Effective Control for Victoria and Licensee in Charge for NSW.  He began his working life as an accountant, and holds a B.Com (Hons) degree and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia, Australian Society of CPAs, and Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Following a period working for one of the Big Four accounting firms, John then held a series of positions in Finance and General Management over a 15 year period, across a wide range of industries including telecommunications, banking and insurance, superannuation and funds management, media, hospitality, and property development.

In 2005, John started Rinnovate Business Advisers, which has since developed a range of clients from small-medium enterprises up to listed public companies.  John's approach to advising businesses balances the need for practical, achievable solutions with the need to always keep in sight the overall strategic objective. John is also a director of two listed companies, various private companies and two not-for-profit organisations.

John's experience in Business Broking dates back a number of years, and ranges from the sale of small single-operator businesses right through to merger and due diligence activity on large company groups.
