Roland West joined LINK Business Brisbane in 2014 with over 30 years of extensive experience in all aspects of business, including business consultancy and specialist broking. He is now a consistent high achiever within the business brokerage industry, being a multiple award winner both nationally and internationally.
Roland has owned, operated and sold numerous small to medium sized enterprises across various industries, starting his first business in the wholesale and distribution industry in the mid 80’s. He grew this into a multimillion-dollar distribution business which was acquired by a large multinational company.
Throughout the decades, Roland worked as a senior business consultant to Australia’s largest foodservice company and started a further eight companies over different industries, including B2B, online, franchising and construction.
Roland’s ability to create strong professional relationships with all stakeholders, paired with his decades of business acumen, have allowed him to gain the knowledge and skills needed to be a respected negotiator and highly influential consultant. His number one priority is to utilise his strategic thinking in order to help organisations maximise their performance, value, profits and exit strategy.
In addition to his professional work, Roland has also assisted the wider community through his service on a number of community sporting boards in both leadership and advisory roles.
