Established in 1910 the business provides all post office services to the area including banking for around 80 financial institutions, parcels, mail and bill payments. There are 387 post boxes of which around 95% are leased. The business also stocks stationery, gifts and computer accessories.

Much of the business is generated by the local community but because of its central location customers travel in from the surrounding districts and towns.

There is no RMB (Royal Mail Bag) or street delivery so the mail boxes are a core source of revenue.

The building was publicly owned until 1996 and so maintenance, historically,  has been of a high standard.

The current owners purchased the business and the property in 2011 and since then have made many improvements.

This monopoly 9am - 5pm, 5 day business provides a steady income and a comfortable home in a progressive country centre.
