A bit of history
Hecho en Mexico, which translates to ‘Made in Mexico’, opened its doors back in 2013 in the heart of Fitzroy, one of the trendiest suburbs in Melbourne. By popular demand, Hecho en Mexico started expanding to other areas and exploring new markets. 9 years later we have opened 15 different locations and we have taken over the kitchen in one of the most successful bars in Melbourne. Thirteen out of the fifteen locations are owned by franchisees. No two restaurants look the same as each suburb has a different vibe and different needs, but all of our stores are colourful and vibrant. It is like taking a trip to Mexico!

We have always used only high-quality fresh ingredients and that is what makes the difference. We make our own salsas and marinades, not to mention our guacamole which is made daily. All of our products are made with love and passion.
