Quiet Time is an all-day to late-night cafe/bar on Smith Street in Clifton Hill, where comfort food, music and art collide. By night, it feels like you're at a friend's house. Candles are propped in water glasses and lamps glow softly in different nooks. It's easy to spend hours around candlelit wooden tables or in the fairy light-strewn courtyard or snag the window bench at the front of the venue.

There is foot path trading outside. Inside, Quiet Time is mainly inspired with nods to Japanese listening bars and French cafes and bistros. Quiet Time is also the home for the online radio station Skylab Radio with its own mini studio in the front room next to the bar which means you hear and see local DJs playing soul and funk, as well as drum and bass.

Quiet Time has an On Premises Licence until 1am with a capacity of 50. There are seven years left on the lease made up of 1+3+3. Rent comes in at only $930 a week incl.
